Welcome to the New Music show that is heard exclusively on www.talkradioX.com Saturday nights from 9pm to 10pm.
This show introduces brand new music to you from some of today’s top current artists as well as great tracks from up and coming bands all over the World… All the music is provided by Major Record Label’s as well underground acts or bands that aren't played enough on terrestrial radio today. We will also be showcasing a local band or two every week during the Local Band Spotlight, so whether you’re a band from Bangkok, Thailand or Santa Monica, it doesn’t matter because all local bands deserve a shot too! Expect up-and-coming and established Indie, Folk/Acoustic, Rock, World, Electronica/Ambient, Hip-Hop, Pop music and more.

About Your Host

JP Raineri is no stranger to the music scene and has a keen sense of what fans can expect in the realm of new music. During his first years in Radio, JP was a programming assistant and producer at the World Famous KROQ in Los Angeles. He was able to hone his skills as a broadcasting professional in the halls of KROQ and since then has worked at Interscope Records, ran his own radio stations for Clear Channel Broadcasting, hosted his own Music Video show on the Verizon Networks, produced national radio commercials, been featured in a National TV commercial, hosted specialty shows for All Pro broadcasting (where he currently is an on-air radio personality for their alternative rock station KCXX - X1039) and has recently been named to the producers guild because of his elaborate production work on the extremely popular Internet radio talk shows, Only 2 Degrees and The Two Unemployed Guys Radio Show.

Like me, there is no doubt you have a passion for music… and lots of it! No matter how hard we will try at Indie 101, we can't keep tabs on every track, every band or every single/album released, but we do our best anyway! This is why we want YOU, the listener, to help us out:
Let us know what music you’re into at the moment. Music that's a little underground or bands that quite simply (in your ears and eyes) need more radio play. We are very much up for playing signed and unsigned music, so let us know the band name, track/s, label, album/single name and we will take a listen.
