There will come a day in the near future, where the line between print and broadcast news, will be blurred–making way for the future of journalism. TV stations and newspapers will become (if they haven’t already) media companies. Many American’s are too busy to sit down and tune into the local newscast or pick up a newspaper, so they receive their news online, on their portable devices and smart phones.

If we as journalists are to survive this change, we’ve got to become smart with technology and use it to our advantage.

As a veteran journalist with nearly 11 years in television news, I am here to help bridge the gap between what you may have seen and known, to what is now reality. The intent of this community is to share tools, tricks and discussions about working as a solo, mobile, one-person-band journalist.
