Ground Zero Radio
As I mention in my profile, I've been an active e-fedder for roughly two years now... and it is because of that hobby that I even discovered Talk Radio X and met Tyler Hollywood.
The second time I listened to GZR (I think it was about this time last year, actually!), it was one of the out-of-character shows... and I called in at Jake's urging. Thanks to a certain bitch who isn't worth naming, I thought that revealing myself as a woman that played the game would lead to me being labeled unfavorably... but I was pleasantly surprised by what transpired. I was too rambly for my own good thanks to a combination of nerves and tiredness from what I remember, but I found myself immediately liking Tyler - the man's got an infectiously cheerful and friendly personality, and that's one of the main reasons we've been friends ever since. Anyway - I figure that if I offer some insight as to how my characters are doing, maybe that'll be yet another nudge towards GZR making its return. I'll answer any questions about my characters to the best of my ability (with the obvious exception of plotline spoilers). And before anyone asks... yes, I did the banners for each of my characters.

(Reigning PSW Champion and RISE Junior Heavyweight Champion)
Unsurprisingly, my first character is still my primary... and she's the most accomplished by far. Since the last episode of GZR, Allison failed to capture the VWA Women's Title at Primrose Path 2008 - and after Jamie Lockheart pissed her off one too many times, she got herself fired for getting in Chaos GM Rekkah Starr's face over how the former champion refused to give her Jamie one-on-one since it would be an intergender match. During the last part of her career in VWA, Allison also signed with PSW where, in her first match, she became Heritage Champion. She defended that belt a total of three times before being stripped in the name of making her PSW Champion. At the moment, she's 12-0... and she's not showing any signs of slowing down. As for RISE, well, she's only on her fourth match there - and she quickly won the Junior Heavyweight Title after an impressive debut victory over Alice Liddell. Also of note is that she was VXW's last TV Champion before it closed its doors in March of this year. As for her personal life, she and Kaji are back together - and that's all the more that really needs said about that.

Jiera returned to action in October 2008 when she joined CWA's roster. While she was a member of the upper-midcard, she didn't get a chance at a title since the company only survived long enough to crown a single champion before merging with EWA to form ECW. Upon hearing that she'd be working under Armanno (someone she has repeatedly called 'a goddamn moron'), she was quick to get her release. Her return in VWA has been mediocre so far, although there's hopes that she will regain her number one contendership. Jiera's personal life has been far more chaotic than Allison's; thanks to infidelity on Michael Black's part, she suddenly found herself single and heartbroken. She did the majority of her healing beyond the sight of the cameras and, just a couple days ago, she was seen being carried off by a handsome stranger...

Ah yes... Nymira D'Aubergine (otherwise known as Flare) didn't have a very good singles career in VWA, although she became a much-loved member of their staff as a backstage announcer. As of late, however, she has been tearing up PSW's tag division as a member of Flashpoint - her partner is her boyfriend, Aaron Rupp. While no gold's come of it yet, many believe that it will only be a matter of time.
Of course that isn't mentioning a thing about my newest project, a first for me that will remain anonymous... for now. You want to know what it is, Tyler? Bring back GZR and I'll tell you.

Nice banners Kris, which reminds me.........
How are my banners coming along? *Cheesy Grin*
Just wondering.
Chris
P.S. Bring back Ground Zero ASAP. We need a new show about something that Southman knows nothing about for a change.
For a while, GZR was the only thing I listened to on TRX. Right now, unless I have a burst of inspiration, the Bad Side on Saturday nights is really all I can remember to listen to. I mirror the requests of my fiance and of Texas County. Bring back Ground Zero Radio.
If you don't, I'll just have to ask you what programs I need to stream live on TRZ, retool the Phoenix Roost into an e-wrestling news show, and take your time slot. Bastard.
