Points Explanation

Hey listeners & fans,

Following your feedback, we are beginning to implement the Points” program. What is it really? Well, it’s for a little interactive fun. What do you get out of it? Hey, one never knows as we are constantly developing ideas here at TalkRadioX. Lets see how this all goes and make sure the system is working before we get too far.

I do know this. I am a statistician at heart and I love creating lists. So I am going to be working on this quite a bit. Right now, we would just love to give you participants something to have fun with when you participate interactively.

Here is how you can garner points:

Basic Activity: Posting a blog (5 points), creating a topical discussion in the forums (4 points), posting a video to the site (3 points), posting an image (2 points) or adding comments to discussions, blogs, profiles or play lists (I point) are all basic activities that are worth some points.

Host Created Points: This is where a host of a show will come to me and say “hey, listener XYZ sent a great mail to my show, can he get some points?” Of course! If you have played trivia on a show and the host wants to award you some points then you will see it in one of those special categories.

Secret Points: To be honest, it’s an idea that keeps coming to me in a dream but each time I get to the ultimate end of this particular idea…I wake up! For now, if you see an odd point here and there under your name and you don’t know why? It’s a secret point!

Categories to gain points in will always be added and eventually, subtracted so be sure to check your scores when you visit and have fun!
