MARIETTA - A Marietta couple remains in jail after police say the boyfriend and girlfriend denied their 2-month-old baby treatment of 20 broken bones for up to three weeks.

Antoinette White, 20, and Kevin Straight, 32, were arrested Dec. 22, when White took their infant to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and a hospital employee called the authorities. According to the White's criminal warrant, White told police she knew she had hurt her infant and admitted to squeezing the infant in an aggressive manner, after which she felt the baby's bones and noticed swelling.

The female baby had a severely broken and displaced femur, as well as a skull fracture and 18 other broken bones. Police suspect the baby suffered from the injuries for up to three weeks with no medical treatment. She is being held in foster care after spending a week in the hospital. A 1-year-old living in the couple's home at 1940 Atlanta Road was also taken into protective custody.

Straight admitted to seeing the swelling on his infant's arm and leg but refused to take her to the hospital, police said. The couple was arrested at the Crimes Against Children office after questioning.

White is being charged with second-degree cruelty to a child, cruelty to a child and aggravated battery, all felonies, and is being held on $100,000 bond. Straight is being charged with second-degree cruelty to a child, a felony, and is being held on $50,000 bond. Both remain in Cobb County Jail.

Now..heres MY take on this:
since i met my wife..shes had somewhat of a positive influence on me pertaining to certain ways in which i express myself and how i direct my feelings toward certain situations. HOWEVER i woke her up this morning i told her that despite all her efforts, i cannot and i WILL not refrain from asking God in Heaven above that he find it in his divine wisdom to send these 2 no good assholes straight to hell.

im all for letting the law of the land prevail and the 'system' doing its job, and what have you, but so help me God sometimes there are instances where certain mother fuckers need to just be dealt with on an individual basis. this is bullshit..absolute and total bullshit. its 1 thing to physically abuse an adult..cause, assuming theyre of their right mind etc, they have the OPTION of fighting back..but a 2 MONTH OLD BABY doesnt!! WHAT in the name of GOD could this child have possibly done to these no good bastards to deserve this? ya dont hafta answer cause she DIDNT!!

i saw this in the journal and told a few of the fellas i work with and i swear some of em looked like they were physically ill..it makes me wanna stick my head in a bucket and puke my guts out.
