Just recieved notice that the AM Transmitter is heading back my way,
fully repaired! I expect To have TALKRADIOX 1650 Back on By Feb 1st!

Some Of You Might Be Aware That During The Month Of July 1650 was hit by lightening. It Is Now Time TO Take 1650 Off Air To Preform Necessary Repairs To The Transmitter. Expected Down Time Is 1 Month Or More.
1650 Should Be Back At least By January 20th if not earlier Or Later.

The Mighty 1650 Is Now Known as "Mighty 100"
We have made the switch to FM Stereo Radio 99.9 FM.
1650 is now known as TalkRadioX 1650.
What Prompted this was a sever power surge that made our AM transmitter no
longer practical for Music Radio, But works just fine for Talk radio.

Well after tireless working we got the AM back on the air. The Audio is kinda weird now. but we can live with that till I get the part to fix that. The Good This is were on the air. yay!

Well folks. at about 12:30 it happened. Lightening Struck near us and zapped us good. good News is 99.9 FM is chugging along. but our beautiful Mighty 1650... she is hurting. Were Working on the transmitter right now. Our Router got zapped and now only the wireless on it works. so KTRX is still playing TalkRadioX. But Mighty 1650 is down. More Info will come soon.
